Week 8: Prototype progress (First draft)

This week I started to make a prototype model for our project. After Olivia's interpretation from the model animation she has created. She then came up with the rough dimension for the prototype model.

The following images are the model, explanation and dimension for the prototype.

I made the model out of Balsa wood which is easy to work with. The model is created to demonstrate the mechanic system of our device. At this stage I created the 5 boxes and the rail for the boxes to move.

 The boxes are roughly 4x4 cm each, made out of cardboard.

Plate which is connected to the rail. ( Boxes will be glued onto the plate)

Boxes are placed on the plate.
